Tarrant County Public Health Department will be providing an Immunization Clinic in Lake Worth ISD. The department will be at N.A. Howry Intermediate School and Lake Worth High School on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. As the school year comes to an end, parents should be aware of immunizations required for their students.
Students currently in grade 6 will need certain immunizations before they can start grade 7 in the 2017-2018 school year in August. This includes TDAP for any student who has not received it in the last five years. Additionally, students must have a Meningococcal vaccine before entering grade 7.
High school students need a second Meningococcal before turning 19.
Packets containing immunization information will be sent home with N.A. Howry Intermediate School students on April 12. The packet will also include a consent form. Parents who wish their child to receive immunizations during the clinic should complete, sign, and return the consent form with the appropriate fee.
The cost is $14 for one vaccine or $15 for two or more vaccines. This cost is per child. Fees may be paid using one of the following methods:
